Amber Heard Might Face Another Court Trial Very Soon

Reports tell that the Aquaman actress could be charged with perjury in a 2015 case in Australia.

Just weeks after losing her intense legal battle against ex-husband Johnny Depp, the 36-year-old Amber might face another court trial.

Currently, an investigation is ongoing into her criminal activity in Australia. In 2015, Heard went to Queensland and illegally took her two dogs with her.

According to Newsweek, while she was married to Johnny, she visited him in Australia when he was shooting for the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5 and took their Yorkshire Terriers, Pistol and Boo, with her without declaring them to the customs.

By doing so, Amber broke Australia’s strict quarantine and biosecurity laws; the country has a strict 10-day quarantine rule for pets coming in. In consequence, the actress was charged with unlawful smuggling of dogs and faced a trial in court.

However, the case was closed when she confessed that it was an honest mistake.

“In a taped apology, Amber Heard said she was “truly sorry” for not declaring terriers, Pistol and Boo, when she entered Australia—which is known for its strict quarantine laws,” Newsweek reported.
