Britney, who was ‘absolutely livid’ about the situation, was married to Jason for 55 hours in January 2004.
The two had been drinking and celebrating the New Year when they decided to quickly tie the knot at a chapel in Las Vegas.
“It was just so crazy, man,” Jason told Access Hollywood about the spontaneous wedding at the time.
“We were just looking at each other and said, ‘Let’s do something wild, crazy. Let’s go get married, just for the hell of it.'”
After annulling her marriage to Alexander, Spears married her backup dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, later in 2004. Spears filed for divorce in 2006, which was granted the following year.
